Concrete removal in Melton and Melbourne's west

Old driveways, paths, slabs and shed floors broken out, loaded and carted off. We work from Kurunjang across Melton, Sunbury, Bacchus Marsh and the rest of Melbourne's west in Victoria, Australia. We run the machine ourselves, so it isn't dry hire. When we leave, the ground is level and the rubble is gone.

  • Broken out and loaded by machine.
  • The concrete leaves with us, same visit.
  • Access walked and agreed before we start.

What the ground looks like afterwards

Under an old slab is whatever was there the day it went down. Bedding sand, crusher dust, sometimes just dirt. Once the concrete is out and the rubble is gone, that's the surface you're standing on, and it sits lower than the ground around it by the thickness of the slab.

We level it off, but level isn't the same as ready. Ready depends on what's going back: a new pour wants boxing out and compacting, turf wants topsoil, a garden bed wants neither. Tell us what's replacing it and we'll leave the ground set up for that instead of guessing.

Yes. It gets loaded as it comes out and carted off as part of the job, so you're not left with a rubble pile to deal with. How many loads it makes depends on the area and the thickness of the slab, which is why we ask for a photo and a rough measurement before quoting.

Send a photo of the slab and the way in

How big it is, whether it's reinforced, and how we get to it. That's what sets the price on a removal.
