This page explains what we do with your details. We only ask for what we need to quote and do your job. We don’t sell it.

Who we are

What the quote form collects

• Your name, mobile and email.
• The job address or suburb.
• What needs doing, and any photos you choose to attach.
• The page you sent the form from.

Why we need it

• To call you back and give you a quote.
• To find the job and check access before we turn up.
• To do the work and invoice you.
• To ask how the job went, or for a Google review, once it’s done.

Who sees it

We do. The form sends your details to our email and into the system we use to track quotes and jobs (Formitize). Our website email goes out through Brevo. The site is hosted with Cloudways and looked after by Dossis Digital, our web company. Photos you attach are kept on our website server.

Some of these services store data outside Australia. We don’t share your details with anyone else unless the law says we must.

Cookies and tracking on this site

• Google Analytics shows us which pages people visit and roughly where they are. It uses cookies. It does not tell us who you are.
• Microsoft Clarity records how people use the site, like clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see where a page is hard to use. It uses cookies too.
• We also count when someone taps our phone number or sends the form, so we know the site is working.

Turning cookies off

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works. Google also has a free browser add-on that stops Google Analytics: search “Google Analytics opt-out”.

Getting a copy, fixing it or deleting it

Call 0466 894 002 or email dirtmechanics@gmail.com. Tell us what you want and we’ll sort it. If there’s something we have to keep, like a tax record, we’ll tell you.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it for your quote, the job and our tax records. After that we delete it.

If you’re not happy

Call or email us and we’ll fix it.
